Kayleigh Parr
I have been in the nail industry for around 15 years, and I've been a part of the Pure Nails family for around 6 years. I first started doing beauty and nails in college, then went on to do my certificate in education at Huddersfield university, where I did my placement at city of Liverpool college. I ended up teaching at the college for 3 years before going into the private teaching sector, teaching from a salon.
Interests
My favourite nail treatments to do are acrylic, polibuild and gel polish. Creating nail designs is something I love doing and no design is too daring for me, I'll try my hand at anything! I think I bring a unique approach to teaching because I have taught in both a private setting and formal educational setting, and together with my experience and personality, provides a relaxed and fun teaching environment that takes away the pressures of the expectations and formalities of educational settings, and focuses on what matters most - learning.

- NVQ level 2 & 3 in Nail Technology
- NVQ level 2 & 3 in Beauty Therapy
- Certificate in Education
- NVQ Level 3 Assessors Award
- 6th Place Gel Polish entry at Professional beauty 2019
I have also undertaken many various industry courses to help maintain, develop and strengthen my skills across nails and beauty, and I aim to do at least 2 of these per year, on top of courses we do with Pure Nails. These include, art courses, advanced technique courses, competition training, skills training, character art, enhancement skills, and so on.
I look forward to continuing to develop my skills, learn more new things and teach these skills to students going forward.
