I have 23 years of experience as a nail technician, specialising in excellent prep work to create long-lasting enhancements using Builder Gel, Hard Gel, and acrylic. I also have 12 years of experience in the beauty industry, focusing on lash lifts, tinting, and brows. I earned my teaching qualification in 2006 and have been sharing my knowledge and experience with students ever since - a part of my career I truly enjoy.

Interests

I’m passionate about staying up to date with advanced nail techniques, including intricate enhancements such as ombré and marbling. I regularly explore innovative products like gel polishes, builder gels, hard gels, and acrylics, along with new tools that enhance application and durability. Nail health and safety are always a priority, and I ensure students understand the importance of proper sanitation protocols and safe product use. With a focus on hands-on training and current industry standards, I’ve developed effective teaching strategies to support aspiring nail technicians. I find it incredibly rewarding to help students grow their confidence and skills as they build successful careers in the nail industry.

In the beauty field, I stay current with advanced techniques in enhancing lashes, brows, and waxing, keeping pace with the ever-evolving trends. I enjoy exploring the latest innovations in beauty products and tools that improve both application and results. Health and safety remain central to my teaching, where I emphasise proper hygiene and responsible product use. My approach to education combines technical skill-building with practical training, tailored to the needs of aspiring beauticians. It’s a true passion of mine to empower students with the knowledge and confidence they need to succeed and thrive in the beauty industry.
